In hair salons there are often four prices for haircuts: men, women short hair, women medium-length hair, and women long hair (listed from lowest price to highest) I used to have big long curly hair (the 1980's Jon Bon Jovi style) most of the way down my back. Just as much work to cut as any woman's long hair. But I would always be charged the men's price.
